Dumb question perhaps... (And I do not wish to start a flame war... )

But, I am interested to know why people prefer using "advanced" text
editors to specific programs like HomeSite/Studio/DW MX 2004

For my own part I like the Specific editors to help fill in the "gaps"
for some of the attributes for tags etc, tag completion, file/site
management.

DW MX 2004 is still known to crash/stall from time to time though....

Cheers,

I have been looking around for a new editor as like Geoff said,
SOEditor
V3 has been delayed almost 8 months since its anticipated release
date.

I have been trialing Editlive from Ephox. They have a Java Version
(runs
on all platforms!) and a Windows version.

THEY ROCK! Definately worth a look see.
