Steve, when you say "on the fly", do you mean like
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp where the onclick of the
"folder" icon calls more xml to populate the child menus?

Is it worthwhile making sure it's for all platforms (which heirmenus
wasn't to start with)?
