a quick update! Upgraded to cfmx 6.1 and the dsn error says that: The ColdFusion MX ODBC Server service is not running or has not been installed After trawling through support, i found that there is sometimes an issue with ColdFusion MX ODBC Agent and ColdFusion MX ODBC Server after new installations and after upgrading. So i tried un installing, re installing the service manually as recommended(technote 19135) But it still isnt happening!
