I know what you mean about email delay!

Sometimes I just feel like a fool on this list, 40 people gave an answer to a simple 
question and then my answer comes in...

My email was delayed somewhat! However we where thinking along the same
lines. Unfortunately I don't know of another way to query a XML string other
than OPENXML(). It's not really that cumbersome in the end!

Is this within one stored procedure? Or different calls to the db?
I never experienced this with multiple calls to the db, it should only
persist during one request..
