I was just referring to the OO software design terms of 'cohesion' and 'coupling'. (Although they may be used in other fields).
Java was just the language I chose because it's OO. i.e.: http://www.cc.gatech.edu/computing/classes/cs2390_97_summer/lectures/rdd/slide7.html They are 2 of the first software design terms I was taught (in 1st year Uni) and it scares me how often CF'ers have no idea what I mean when I use them.
