Yes please. Sounds like a great idea.
what with learning multiple languages ("learn Java" says SeanC), other
web technologies and basic network admin, becoming au fait with
different DMZ implementations certainly can't hurt (esp if you mention
"why this way"). At the least it gives us developers a chance on whether
the sysadmin is talking BS or not...

Yes. Whenever possible. It's a pretty glib thing for me to say I know
but talking about network security and DMZ's etc takes a lot of spiel to
get even the simplest notions across. Suffice to say security is one of
those things you can just keep throwing money at.
