Hi Sean,

Can you elaborate further on the setup you have for downloadable files?
This is what we need it for, we have something like 3000 downloadable
files in the repository and it's only going to get larger.

What kind of hardware/software is needed and what kind of hooks do you
need to create at the web server end? Any URLs?

We started out duplicating files across servers (we still do this for
source code and HTML / assets) but we've begun to move toward a shared
SAN for uploaded files. For downloadable assets (e.g., trial bits etc)
we already use a clustered download network (which selects the best
node for your request and manages caching of files across its own
cluster for optimal performance).
