I'm in a similar situation, I have to replace our current CF based catastrophe with something usable. I like the look of Basecamp from 37 Signals, http://www.basecamphq.com/, but de boss doesn't like the outsourced/ASP idea so it looks like I'll be rolling my own or hacking phpCollab
