Andrew, We've just gone through an evaluation of UML modelling tools and ended up settling on MagicDraw Enterprise. One constraint was budget (as it always is) so we didn't get into some of the really expensive ones such as Popkin and Borland.
Enterprise is still pricey but since we also do a lot of business analysis and database modelling (it has ddl generation) it's a pretty complete package for us. We were using Case Studio and a couple of other tools which had so many hacks it was becoming a nightmare. You should check out the community and standard editions as they're well priced. You might also want to have a squiz at Poseidon and maybe even VisualObject. http://www.magicdraw.com http://www.gentleware.com www.visualobject.com Angus -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Andrew Scott Sent: Tuesday, 27 July 2004 2:14 PM To: CFAussie Mailing List Subject: [cfaussie] Re: htmlarea 3 coldfusion image lister/upload add-on - solved This may have been asked before, but what are people using to create UML's. I have had a look at a few so far, but must admit that those that I have had a look at are very awkward or don't have enough features (to my liking, yeah fussy I guess).
