Ryan,

It's the same for VMWare on PC - the wirless protocol/hardware doesn't allow multiple IPs on a single interface - I think it's something to do with preventing hijacking of a wirless session.

I'm having all sorts of trouble with networking and Virtual PC - hopefully they'll get it within cooee in the next version.

Ok worked it out.

For some reason you can't network between the Mac and the Virtual PC
while you are using wireless networking... there has to be a physical
Ethernet cable in the machine connecting it to a hub to allow this to
happen. Even though you are actually connecting the Mac to itself.

Which is also a bit of a bummer, as one of the reasons for doing this
is so a client could run his site from a Mac while off the network.

Grrrr.... the things they don't tell you in the product specs.... Hmmm
I wonder if I made a dummy crossover cable by connecting pins 1 to 3
and 2 to 6 of an RJ45 plug I could fool it into thinking it was on a
network... anybody got a spare Mac lying around they want to test this
on? :)

bye
