Well thanks but i dont really want to change my whole setup around now that i've got Dreamweaver tamed to my way of doing things. And I have 40 sites set up there. And all the DSNs. and all the snippets, and all the FTP parameters. And all the other tweaks and extensions etc.
Fair enough. I was just making sure that you were aware of the other options to solve the problem you asked about. Since you appeared to be objecting to Matthew's suggestion based on price it seemed worth pointing out that that shouldn't be an issue.
All I wanted to know was whether you could tweak DreamweaverMX to drag and drop a CFC method in the other format, not get embroiled in a Mac/PC DWMX/Eclipse Unix/Win Ford/Holden pointless pissing contest. You go ahead and use Eclipse with my blessing but I use Dreamweaver.
I'd wouldn't call it a pointless pissing contest. If dreamweaver doesn't allow you to do what you want I think it's natural to point out free (or non-free for that matter) alternatives that may do.

Yes, if you are happy to write the extensions yourself, you can certainly do this sort of thing using the Dreamweaver extensability API. That's mostly just javascript with a custom DOM, so if you're familiar with JavaScript it isn't too hard to work with. I don't know if anyone has already done it, but it wouldn't surprise me.
