Three Ideas for you
1) CFX custom tags exist to convert html to xls
2) user the ODBC Driver to write to an already set up xls file
3) create an XML spread sheet in Excel and then use cffile to save a "copy"
in that "XML" format, this is only Office 2000 + Compatible.
Just some Ideas.

Subject: [cfaussie] Saving Excel files
Is there a way to create an excel file on the server HDD. What I have is a
error report that I want to save in an excel file in the nice separate
columns. I can use the cffile to save a file with a .xls extension but it
just puts it all into one cell.
