Agreed, but in his case Tell/Show are ingredients in which he bases 
potential learning capabilities on. If he were to be taught, he would have 
to rely
on either "showing" or self-awareness only. (ie suddenly a child will 
decide to crawl..one could argue he gathered this from adults momentum - 
teaching - whilst on the other hand, teaching can be derived from ones 
self instinct based on a number of environmental factors.. point is, 
"teach me and i will learn" - meaning, reliance on an entity outside his 
closed environment...

Also Show is one of those verbs that one could argue encapsulates a lot of 
actions related to teaching (ie show is another word for expose?)..

hehehe...I'm loosing it..and I'm getting to argumentative lately so i'll 
back off :D
