I can't believe Peter posted that. Beyond angry?? I'm APPALLED. Peter gets the hosting for the CFUG free, as my contribution to the ColdFusion community. He wanted the site moved. It didnt need to be moved, but he wanted it moved. So we started moving it. At 10.30pm last night, we hit a snag when one of the users on the database couldn't be created, and I suggested we load the rest and get back to that in the morning.
Peter said that would be fine - upload the database except the fusetalk tables and we'll do them tomorrow. No indication from him that it was unsatisfactory. Then not five minutes later he's here saying he's 'beyond angry'. Here's a direct quote from our instant messenger conversation: Peter: You have the Db working. I can do the rest. Thank you!!!! Mike: the fusetalk tables wouldnt upload because user fusetalk doesnt have ownership of this databse Peter: How long for db? Mike: tomorrow [other stuff snipped] Peter: ACTCFUG tables only (prefixed) That's what was done, and five minutes later here he is on this list bagging me and saying he's 'beyond angry'. Sometimes you wonder why you do favours for people.
