Not as trendy as the regex answers you'll get, but ListGetAt(CGI.http_referrer, 2, "/") should do the trick.

Subject: [cfaussie] extraction part text from a url string

I am tracking referrer websites using the #http_referrer# variable in cf and then recording the values in a database table and example would be http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=sunshine+coast+airport+to+mooloolaba&meta=

is it possible to have some code strip all content to the right of the third / by doing so it will provide me with the primary referral without all the additional text.

Kind Regards
