Hi M@,
Alright. We can all quite easily say we have used it from day one, but we need
actual proof,
Justin has the floppys from 1.5 can anyone beat or equal him ?
Nope, we have just failed :-(
Having just turned the office upside-down we can offer a set of backup floppies of V2 and the oldest code we can find is some the of early KAOS stuff in Feb '97. We can't find any code that has .dbm file extensions, that would have been the ultimate proof! :-)
If anyone has a working 1/4" tape drive then we have the lot :-) The machine that used to host the old KAOS, plus other stuff, was rebuilt only a few months back and it was running CF3 on Website V1.1h, and had the SCSI 1/4" Viper tape drive in it, which we pulled out. I regret doing that now, we should have kept that snippet of history :-

Hi Kym,
BTW, Peter, as you and I are the oldest CF developers in this part of the world
Well you might be the oldest but one or two other people have been coding in Coldfusion in this part of the world for just as long. :-) [I still have the 3 floppies that version 1.5 come on to prove it.] Although I think you may have a month or two experience on me over the nearly ten years Coldfusion has been in existence - gosh it's been that long!
I can't remember the exact date when 1.5 come out [think it was Feb or March 96?] but 2.0 come out in November 96 and cost $250 US for a upgrade from 1.5 standard to the 2.0 professional edition, think it $500 US for a full version.
