Hi Jason,

Check the Dell forums, there is a thread a week back on this:

http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=pes_othersft&message.id=1797

Dell uses port 8000 for their OpenManage software so either it or JRun needs to move to another port.

Thanks Robin,
I've stopped the remote access controller services, but the problem
persists. They can't be uninstalled without fudging the registry, so I
may try installing from scratch without the rac services installed.

Do you have documentation on which ports the rac services are using?

I've got CFMX/Jrun clustering working with session replication and
failover on our compaq dev servers, but for the life of me can't get it
working on our dell production servers.

Jason, just watch out for the Dell management software which in multiple cases over the last few years has had port clashes with JRun.
