heheh no i got it ;)

Using Javascript is dependent on your browser, in that if you say in
IE have your settings for "new blah blah every page", then i'll be the
one downloading every time. That and if its dynamic url, sometimes
Automatic setting still downloads again.

ie point is, the Agent that handles the loading can determine if it
needs a new or use old.

Flash on the other hand does what a developer says, either store it
locally as one big asset pak swf, or loadMovie when you need it (up to
the google devy).

Point is, Flash gives you the option to store assets in a once off hit
(with realistic preloading/caching..don't go there with DHTML & Media
Management) furthermore you can reduce the processing of a page
itself.. ie raw data back and forth once preliminary assets have been
downloaded? that it in itself would be a saving? (refresh = bandwidth
no?)

Catch22 though is if you just want the one map you kind of place the
user in a "download all or nothing" queue :)

i think it would even out though and find Flash to be a bandwidth
saviour? but who knows how they have it setup at their end.

Vector would be betterer (espec for Zooooom) but if they do any
animation, go the bitmap as too much vector means poor mans PC dies.

Anyway crap crap crap :)
