Hi, Do you mean: Take a copy of the database and install it locally on other local SQL servers?
You can script it very easily. Do you mean: Script a new SQL server Registration to Server Groups in SQL Server? Interesting question, best asked over at sqlservercentral.com Do you mean: Script user access to a particular database? Yes, Right click on db, chose All Tasks, Generate SQL Script .. On the Options tab, Tick some of the Security Scripting Options.... It will script the creation of users, addind users to roles, and adding object level permission where they exist. >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 15/04/2005 8:39:07 am >>> Heya, Is there a way to export my database login information from Enterprise Manager to other developers, so we don't all have to go through the tedious setup process every time a new database goes online? The setup process involves going to the Client Network utility, setting up the alias, then in EM, adding a new database registration and entering the login details.. surely all this info gets stored somewhere? thanks, bye! ----------------------- Ryan Sabir Newgency Pty Ltd 2a Broughton St Paddington 2021 Sydney, Australia Ph (02) 9331 2133 Fax (02) 9331 5199 Mobile: 0411 512 454 http://www.newgency.com/index.cfm?referer=rysig --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/ --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/
