agreed, didn't think of the fact that Adobe does have a strong reputation in terms of document handling. I mean Adobe Acrobat Reader (say what you will) is commonly used in most firms I've seen, visited. I know lot of paper-less companies live and die by PDF and as robin put it, throw in the MM server-side/client-side tools and that could get very interesting.
Especially if you are looking to invest down the track in Document Management Systems. Something that is getting more and more painful to build/manage in larger coporations. Or they could simply fall under the one banner, keep the brandings intact, sit tight for a couple of years on how the newly bought / beta technologies grow/adapt and then look at how they will put new changes etc in to play. who knows, who cares, just don't screw with my FLEX/FLASH/CFMX world.
