Provided a document is XHTML compliant (ie validates 100%) shouldn't
that be enough for Accessibility compliance

in that if it passes XHTML checks, it can also be accepted as simple old XML.

I've not done a full 508 compliance as yet, nor do i really look
forward to that.. but to me, if i can be considered XML then wtf..

TABLES are standard compliant tags, even in XHTML (the new breed)
according to w3c themselves. Accessibility clients that use XHTML
could disregard visuals and focus on the content? *shrug* this is
above my paygrade and now i must defer to the wisdom of others ;)
