If you are developing locally it wont matter what IP address you have available for outside access as you will always be coming from 127.0.0.1.

You should be able to still access multiple sites on the same machine as the request isn't coming from a different ip (but may be going to a different ip if on a server OS).

If you ping any address in the 127.x.x.x subnet, the response is always from 127.0.0.1 (on Windows) and you will find the entire subnet is reserved.
