All I can say is good luck if you're building your own ERP system. There
is room in the market for niche and specialized apps, but building
another generic ERP system is like trying to sell another word processor
or spreadsheet.
We'll all be better off jumping on to the SAP gravy train - if this
takes off there'll be lots of work for experienced Flex developers in
SAP land. As a generic app, SAP *always* needs plenty of customization,
and the rates are way above the standard developer rates for any
programming environment.
