Search engines try their best to stop evil web sites from offer a 'special'
version of their page to search engines that is so highly search engine
optimised that it is almost useless to a human on a browser, but ranks
amazingly high on specific keyword searches, yet when a human goes to the
page gets a fairly standard, or even worse yet, a completely unrelated,
page.
The search engines are known to do such tricks as hit your site with a
'known' spider, then hit your page with one from a random seeming adress,
with none of the tell tale spider bot indications, and seeing if the content
is markedly different.
They really don't like this kind of behaviour, as they want to know that
what they spidered and offer in their search lists is the same thing that
the users link to when they click on a search result.
They will penalise you severely (and discretely) if they notice you doing
it.
Now that you have been warned, look for such things like 'search engine
wars' or 'search engine optimisation'. You won't get this information out of
a search engine company, but many 3rd parties will offer you this info,
often for a moderate subscription price.

I am looking at identifying these and pushing them to another part of a
