Jeremy,
It seems to be after a .net data type: System.Xml.XmlNode. You might
find that it maps to a CF XML object or simply an XML string. The file
might be able to be passed in as a string from a cffile. Just a thought.
On a side note, a good way to look at a .net web service is through Visual Studio (if you have access to it).
