The following are were comments made by a data centre in Melbourne when I asked if they were able to have cf server running on their clients servers. "Cold fusion is a very expensive piece of software to purchase! Not many people use it anymore as it has been superseded by Java, PHP, and on the Windows side - ASP." "we could install it, but you guys would be pretty lonely out there running it! Some ISPs still run a copy, but it is a bit like VHS cassette tapes in terms of technology now a days." "It is quite expensive and apart from some activity a few years ago we rarely see it in use nowadays. PHP and Java seemed to have killed it in our observations across 450 servers."
Kind Regards Claude
