I have the laptop card... I find that at home (in Quakers Hill) I require the external antenna to get the full 1M from the card as I'm literally on the edge of a black spot. (it's about 80% without it) On the train from Blacktown to the city it's ok (much better in the car). Between Strathfield and Auburn is a bit patchy, but otherwise great. Overall the coverage is awesome and extra good with the antenna.
 
Basically get the antenna, put it in your bag. You can get coverage outside the map with it. I'm off to Melbourne for the weekend, and I'll be taking the laptop and my portable 1M link (bye bye dial up at my sister's house!!) Yeeeeeeehar.
 
Overall satisfaction rating : 9.5/10.. more fun than ADSL2

This is OT, but just wondering who of you out there have an iBurst connection for their laptop and how happy are they with the coverage and service?
Is there anything cheaper out there than 49.95 a month?
