Think about this scenario:

1. The sun is setting to the west. Yep. The time is right to grab that
domain name I have more of a claim to than say Bargo FluzzerBuster.

2. Hmmm. Seems the sun set in China much earlier - so they scooped up the
domain. No problem. I can throw US$5000 around easily (not).

3. Go for the "next best thing" - a ".name" domain. Quite valid and legal
it seems.

4. Do that and enjoy at least 12 months of email bliss before finally
being knocked back that the ".name" extension is not valid.

True story. But the point is that ".name" is now a valid URL but not even
... no I will not say who.

Update your validation scripts for domains please.
