I think it depends a lot on the product and the team--each product team
might be a little different. There's one beta I'm on right now that
seems to be missing a lot of very well known names so I don't know why
the 300+ people on the beta got picked over others. I know that they
want a variety of people with different experiences and that
international beta testers have a big advantage relative to others.

For RedSky, it's practically an open beta--they want to have as many
people as possible test it to ensure it's as stable as possible.

BTW, I've applied for DW beta a few times too and never got it. Guess
Team MM doesn't mean anything to the DW team. Oh well.

ColdF usion MX "Red Sky" beta

Here is one Q,
How does MM selects it members of Betas?
I have applied since the DW3 for DW, and no reasons other than a thank
you.
I have been using the DW since the DW2 student version and still they
have yet to
Allow me to test and share.

I hope that this new (test and share) team are able to break it before
the release, that way it can be improved even more.

Thank You
