I traditionally would use a single controller, as well, however I decided to try this approach instead. Pollster uses something I call "handlers" which are little mini controllers custom written for different forms that all inherit from a single handler. The difference is that Pollster submits to specific subclasses of a controller rather than a single controller. So far, it has worked out well.
