This is one that baffles me... looking at Mach-II, that is suppose to be
Java like... RIGHT???... doesn't a listener violate the concept of
encapsulation?

No... (this is my thought.)

It seems to be an iverted violation. The application has to be "interface"
aware. In other words, it must understand the object for the object to work
right. Therefore, proper implementation depends on connecting the components
correctly. Right? And... it also depends on raising the events correctly.
So, Mach-II is more of an example of changing the procedural (serial
execution of actions from fusebox) to a event model where the application is
more complex... in that it must understand the components, but more
intelligent. Thus in theory, it is more responsive internally.

So, Hal... did I get the concept right? Or another GURU.

(Oh, great article in the CFDJ about Mach-II... been learning some Java...
very interesting product you and Ben have built.)
