John, Is the include in the "pseudo-constructor" area, or within a CFC method? If the include is in the constructor, and you var your method variables, those method variables are only available to the code within the method and not the included code in the constructor area. If the include is within a method, then it is part of that method, and any variables declared in the method are part of the include. Does that make sense?
