Then, during a CFUG meeting I asked Ben Forta about it, and he was very positive that the CF Server would cache the location of the CFC just like it does with custom tags.
I would be more than glad to hear that we don't have to worry about it. I never heard it mentioned anywhere but, at the same time, I don't see many people talking about CFCs on shared servers at all.
