So, what you are saying is that there is a business need for age and it _just_ so happens to coincide with a data member?
Yes. Just because the business model requires that you can obtain a certain piece of information from an object doesn't mean you need an attribute behind it. Sometimes that's the most convenient way to implement it, sometimes it isn't.
