I have added a widdix() function, an abort() function, Nathan D's QueryToArrayOfStructures() function, and various other UDFs which I would like all my components to have available. I don't treat it like a component - I treat it like a UDF library.
I do however, keep the function count low, and if I find myself needing more application-specific functions, I'll include those as each CFC needs them.
