I used the Hit drivers in the past, and they were decent, but eventually moved to the IBM JTOpen driver for a few reasons:
1. It's free (for us to license the Hit driver for all of our machines, including dev machines, was prohibitively expensive) 2. It's made by IBM, the same people that make the DB 3. IBM releases updates to JTOpen first, even before they release updates to the JDBC driver that runs on the OS400 -Rob "Dawson, Michael" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>@cfczone.org on 10/10/2003 09:23:30 AM Please respond to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent by: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> cc: Subject: RE: [CFCDev] CFMX 6.1 W2K connecting to DB2 AS400 Yes, you can upgrade this w/o probs, however, you may have to do some incremental upgrades thru the different OS levels. You might try to use the JDBC drivers in my previous post. I'm sure Hit drivers are good, but are they worth $1000 if you can get one for free? ---------------------------------------------------------- You are subscribed to cfcdev.
