There is a slippery slope that all the vendors are standing on top of. A language specification is the only answer. Requiring BD to follow CF is not an answer as it doesn't help competition in any way, which I think is finally starting to happen. You'll agree when you see one of BD's features show up in CF. I picks would be cfimap, cfimage, or possible the CFC enhancements the community asked for that BD delivered. Maybe we will even see CF on .NET.

Isn't New Atlanta standing at the top of a slippery slope if they start adding functionality to their implementation of the CF API, over and above what the Macromedia product ships with?
