I need to do a little project in PHP, and many of the techniques I've developed for CF would be helpful, but I don't know how to translate them. Can anyone point me toward resources that illustrate PHP equivalents to these CF bits:
Application.cfm / OnRequestEnd.cfm Application scope (mostly, RAM-persistent shared vars) Session scope CFCs
For the equivalent of CFCs, mostly I'm looking for better encapsulation of function libraries, and making such things RAM-persistent, although some of the object-like traits like inheritance would be nice. Plus, if anyone is *really* experienced with the two, I wouldn't mind finding out how to duplicate some of the more advanced CFC functionality if PHP can handle it.
Since this is sort of off topic, feel free to email me offlist or just send a link. I'm not trying to spur discussion on PHP. :)
