What i've done in the past (and will certainly do in the future for any cfc
that is persisted) is dump the variables scope from within the cfc you want
to inspect for variables that should have been var'ed. It makes it easier to
spot any you forgot, because the dump will show them sitting there in
variables scope, persisted when they shouldn't have been.

If you place the cfdump in a function and call that function in
onRequestEnd.cfm, it's fairly clean and simple to find them, as long as
you're familiar with the CFC.
