Title: Message

I’m torn on this whole issue.

Part of me would much. MUCH rather Blue Dragon stick directly to the “Macromedia” way of doing things (which would, of course, be much easier is MM would publish a language spec).  Another part wants to see innovation.

I lean towards the first simply because I shy completely away from doing things that would prevent my code from running on CFMX – even in the cases where Blue Dragon will be the platform for an application I know that I’ll want to pilfer parts of it later for something else which may not be running on Blue Dragon.

But at the same time New Atlanta should be taking advantage of every edge they can find to grow.

Just musing.

It just struck me that Vince (whom I respect a lot, make no mistake) was obviously crowing about Blue Dragon’s ability to do something CFMX did not, but the comment could definitely be taken as a negative as well.

So if Blackstone throws an error when you try to Duplicate() a CFC, but BlueDragon actually returns a duplicate of the CFC, does that count as a testcase failure against BlueDragon?  ;-)
