Per the guidelines:

For cffunction, if the function throws any exceptions, the hint
attribute should have "<br />Throws: document any exceptions that the
function can throw" at the end of the hint."

So a hint might look like:

hint="I perform some task.<br />Throws: app.sub.failure if we can't
get the data, app.sub.unexpected if the data has an unexpected value."
