I wanted to have a closer look at Mach-ii since I have a notebook and I can work on the train nowadays. I installed Mach-ii (or I THOUGHT I did) and to check it's all working I ran the sample app contact manager.
It gave an error when ever I wanted to look at stored values, for example the recent contacts or to edit a contact. I assume I haven't installed Mach-ii correctly in that case. Roulette works ok, until it has to give a result of a bet. Then it throws an exception. Can someone please confirm these are the steps to install Mach-ii? [A] Unzip the contents of MachII_1_0_10.zip to c:\inetpub\wwwroot, so it sets up all the folders with the same file layout as inside the zip. [B] Create a mapping in CFAdministrator called machii, to point to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\machii and then Mach-ii should work, assuming the application files are correct. No? Or have I missed something? No other steps? -- Cheers Mike Kear Windsor, NSW, Australia Certified Advanced ColdFusion Developer AFP Webworks http://afpwebworks.com ColdFusion, PHP, ASP, ASP.NET hosting from AUD$15/month ---------------------------------------------------------- You are subscribed to cfcdev.
