It gave an error when ever I wanted to look at stored values, for

Roulette works ok, until it has to give a result of a bet. Then it
throws an exception.

The exception info would be most helpful...

Can someone please confirm these are the steps to install Mach-ii?

[A] Unzip the contents of MachII_1_0_10.zip to c:\inetpub\wwwroot, so
it sets up all the folders with the same file layout as inside the
zip.

I assume you mean C:\inetpub\wwwroot\machii\....

[B] Create a mapping in CFAdministrator called machii, to point to
c:\inetpub\wwwroot\machii

Yes, create a mapping named 'machii'.

and then Mach-ii should work, assuming the application files are correct. No?

Or have I missed something? No other steps?

Try out Phil Cruz's Mach-II Sample App at mach-ii.info. I know for sure that works...

You need only two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.
