Good to know. Thanks. Currentely I am using slashes whenever I invoke a CFC, not when I define a CFC type. I work pretty often on CF projects that use shared boxes (and it's not my choice), so I really know the pain. While I see your point, I never heard MM saying "CF was never meant for shared hosting". A clear statement from MM would put the complains into a different perspective.
