Hi guys,
The book I'm using (ColdFusion Mx Bible) states that I shouldn't use
the Variables scope for instance variables but should use the Unnamed
scope instead. The reason? There was a bug in version 6.0 that allows
Variables to leak to the calling template. Does anybody know if this
still applies in version 6.1?
Cheers, Pete (aka lad4bear)
Unless, I'm going completely crazy...that problem was corrected in 6.1.
Go ahead and use the variables scope for your [private] instance variables.
Best,
.Peter
P.s. Most of the CF books are "out-of-date" regarding CFC usage.
