I'm 99.9% sure the answer to this is no, but I'm asking anyway.
I've recently inherited an application in which they run different builds in
subfolders off the root directory. I'm currently in the process of updating
the entire code base to utilize components--starting at one project at a
time. I'm trying to figure out a way to allow multiple builds to run in
sub-directories off the root, but be yet completely leverage CFCs by having
children extend parent objects.
So if I have the following directory structure:
/prod/
./com/
./views/
./images/
/dev/
./com/
./views/
./images/
Obviously to access a component I can use prod.com.* or dev.com.*, but I
need to configure the path dynamically to really provide flexibility. Is
there anyway around this? Also, the production server runs live code off the
root and not of a sub-directory.
