Pete, do you have an example of how you are using .forward
to work with a simple for and validating it? I usually just have a
self-posting form, but if you know of a different way to achieve the same
result, I would like to see an example.

My experience so for has been that GetPageContext.Forward doesn't automatically include the Form or Url scope and that they must be copied into Request scope so they can be accessed on the next page. However, this Is easy to do and using <cf_forward> is a nice shortcut.
Am still struggling a bit with seeing how GetPageContext.Forward() helps with MVC but a smarter man than me mentioned it so am sure I'll work it out one day! :)
