thanks for the reminder about the Eclipse SVN plugin. I have been meaning to get that for quite a while. The easy "renaming of files and directories" alone makes SVN well worth checking out if anyone is undecided on it.
Plus if you are already using CVS there are scripts avaiable for moving your repository from CVS to SVN.
