It's just a concept.  You could call it "GeneralMethods" or "GlobalFunctions".  But I simply would encapsulate the methods in one object that only get's created once (generally for the Application - and it would live in the Application scope - e.g. application.globalFunctions).
 
And, in regard to starting a new thread (if you are going to use the "reply" method - and not just put the email address in your Contacts) I would suggest you edit out the details of the message you are replying to (as I have done this time).  Otherwise it will all be irrelevant to the new subject.
