I'm sorry. I didn't mean to criticize RoR or a CFoR effort. The problem is that everyone and their brother has a ColdFusion framework. I understand that not a single framework will ever be perfect. However, can't we at least just try to improve on the frameworks we've got, rather than going off in a completely different direction. In the last 9 months I've done an extensive amount of research in on all the popular frameworks. Each framework has it's own strengths and weaknesses. They all share a very significant problem... a lack of community support. Regardless of the reasons, I just think we need to improve on what we've got before we start over.. yet again.
